Sci-Fi Museum Exhibit

Summary
Create a multi-channel campaign for an event that includes a brochure, advertising, environmental signage, tickets, and environmental graphics.
Approach
I based my designs on a fictional museum exhibit that explores the relationship between technology and science fiction. I created an infographic brochure with a unique folding pattern and developed a “pixelsort” glitch effect that became the basis for the rest of the design aesthetic.

I designed the brochure to be carried around by a visitor at the museum exhibit, so it needed to be small enough to fit in a pocket or small carry bag and I wanted to keep the production costs affordable to a potential client. My solution was to configure an 8 panel booklet out of a single 17"x11" standard poster size print paper. The final brochure measures 6"x4" and was achieved by creating an innovative accordion fold with front and back covers. The brochure design does employ a simple rectilinear die cut, but negates any potential binding costs for a booklet of comparable content.
