Apparel
I love creating apparel designs. The shirt designs featured here are for my personal brand in conjunction with a previous company I created, Magic Brothers Creative Services.
In addition to the original designs created for Magic Bros., I have also worked as a vector artist for All Valley Victory Screen Print Apparel in South Texas turning images, student artwork, and low resolution logos into vector art for the screen printing process.
Animal Instincts
I created this limited collection as a fun exercise in juxtaposing evocative keywords with simple stylized animal artwork to strike a fun, edgy or simply ironic and silly tone.
It started as a result of the encouraging response I received for the first design, Easy Cat. Every time I would wear my Easy Cat shirt out in public, I would frequently get comments from people asking me where I got it and how much they liked it. This inspired me to create more designs in this same vein.
The artwork was created in single or limited color palettes so as to keep screen print production costs to a minimum.
B.A.A.A.H.S.
I created this design for an art collective based out of San Francisco. B.A.A.A.H.S. is a popular live event producer in the Bay area and provides unique bandanas to each of it's members at the annual Burning Man Festival. I met the founders of the collective who took an interest in one of my personal shirt designs which led to me designing bandanas for their Burning Man experience 2 years in a row. The designs incorporate their sheep logo and many other elements elements based on the theme of that years event. (2017 event theme - Radical Ritual, 2018 event theme - I, Robot)
Magic Jack
I created this design as an homage to the iconic vintage Cracker Jack artwork. I've modernized the sailor to make him look more realistic and replaced the multicolored dog at his feet with a cat pawing for attention in honor of my cat. I've also included a sleeve design with an updated version of the vintage surprise Cracker Jack artwork.
